Ojo is a short, pleasant 30-40 minute drive from Taos, making it the perfect getaway for Taos locals. Several years ago we were going there so often we decided to buy a hot tub instead, so we could soak every day if we wanted to. Sure, we used the tub, but we really missed the total relaxation that comes with a day at Ojo. From leisurely soaking to total spa pampering, the "Ahhh" factor can't be matched at home. Visitors to Taos can go for a few hours, the whole day, or spend the night in one of several room options. When we go for the day, we usually bring our own lunch. If spending the night, dinner (or any meal) at the Artesian Restaurant is another treat to make you feel pampered. The food is beautiful, and the staff friendly and willing to please. We asked for vegan menu options, and they were happy to make substitutions to suit our needs. After our Valentine's Day visit this week, we've decided to make it a monthly date. Time spent at Ojo is pure rejuvenation. Visited February 2012
KimMilesI spent a day at Ojo Caliente Spa and once again, was so impressed by the wonderful amenities and friendly people who work there. It was a chilly day in January, but the hot springs made it worth the effort. Massages, facials, fluffy robes and wonderful scents were all a part of an awesome day. The restaurant fare is out of this world!! Blue corn cheese enchiladas to die for! I've been visiting Ojo for years and will continue my treks to this wonderful destination. Visited January 2012

Staying at Ojo Caliente Resort has been on my New Mexico bucket list for years. Winter is a great time to receive special rates and beat the heat & crowds. We parked our car & just enjoyed the pools, soaking tubs, kiva fireplaces, hiking & restaurant. We stayed in a Cliffside Suite for its own private soaking tub on the patio. At dark we enjoyed the moon & black star filled sky. In the day we loved the clear blue skies & puffy white clouds. Visited February 2012
